Camp Runoia is an all-girls overnight, sleepaway summer camp located in Belgrade Lakes on beautiful Great Pond. We are well known for our outstanding sailing, horseback riding, wilderness trips & creative arts programs. Our girls receiver a lot of personalized, one-on-one instruction with our sincere counselors and benefit from our ACA accredited programs and policies.

One of the questions every child wonders before camp is, “Will I make friends?”

Sometimes, the answer comes before camp even begins.

These two met for the very first time this morning during a first-time camper tour. Within minutes they were besties!

This is what makes Camp Runoia so special. It’s more than activities or cabins. It’s a place where connections happen naturally, where kindness comes first, and where lifelong friendships often begin with a simple “Hi.”

We can’t wait to see all of our other camp besties tomorrow!!!!!

As we celebrate Camp Runoia’s 120th summer, we are reminded that the heart of camp has always been the people. It was such a joy to host this incredible group of alumnae today and celebrate the friendships, memories, and connections that have stood the test of time. 💙 Moments like these are a beautiful reminder that Runoia is so much more than a summer!
