Today is also National Coaches Day!
Cheers to the summer and year round staff who coach our campers through so much more than a game.
They coach them on the proper J-Stroke and how to build a fire. How to saddle a horse, draw back a bow, try a new skill, and find their footing. They coach them through their first solo on stage, their first time trying something that feels a little scary, and all of those moments when "I can't" starts turning into "wait...I think I can!"
At Runoia, coaches are everywhere- on the fields, at the waterfront, in the barn, on the range, in the dining hall, out in the woods, and right beside our campers as they figure things out for themselves.
So today, cheers to the people who teach, encourage, demonstrate, cheer, support, challenge, reassure and sometimes say "Let's try it one more time!"
Happy National Coaches Day to all of the coaches who make Runoia, Runoia!
