Belgrade Community Library has more than 35,000 items in the collection, as well as more than 5,600 registered borrowers. The Library receives more than 6,000 visits from borrowers per month. History of Library

The Belgrade Community Library was established in 1932 by the Belgrade Women’s club. It was housed in the city offices. In 1934 volunteers began building a new log structure on Main Street and on January 24, 1935 the library moved into the “Log Cabin.” This was home for the library until 1989 when again community volunteers came together and built the facility at 106 N. Broadway and the library moved once more. In 2002, a new addition to the library was built, adding 5500 square feet.

Gallatin County Elections is coming to Belgrade next week!

Elections staff will be at the Belgrade Community Library October 19–21 to assist residents with late voter registration, absentee ballot services, and any election-related questions.

This is a great opportunity for Belgrade residents to take care of their voting needs right here in our community ahead of Election Day.

A big thank you to the Gallatin County Elections Department for bringing these important services directly to Belgrade and making it easier for residents to participate in the election!

If you cannot make it to the library, you can always visit the Gallatin County Elections Office at the Gallatin County Courthouse in downtown Bozeman between now and Election Day.

For more information, visit www(dot)GallatinVotes(dot)com or contact the Elections Department at 406-582-3060.

We can't wait for our very first Symphony Storytime on Thursday, Oct. 15!!! Introduce younger children to music with Symphony Storytime, a free, short story-based music program to engage children, especially ages 3-5 through music.

Encouraging a love of music, literacy, and discovery, Symphony Storytime exposes children to a diverse selection of stories, cultures, authors, narrative styles, readers, instruments, music, and musicians.

Each engagement gives children the opportunity to participate in a dynamic, fun, and entertaining Storytime and get up close to a musician and an instrument.

Join us on the second Monday of each month from 4 to 6 PM for a session focused on life-saving skills.

Our next class on October 12 will cover hands-only CPR, and you can register here: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=gZ3MfBRQqUKxuYppNogbF_jWPiq842BHkcKvE7-igq1UN0s0RjhPQjlRR1IyNVhGMUhXVzlORTdKVS4u.

When the time comes to save someone’s life, will you be ready? CPR, especially when performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival. Hands-only CPR has been shown to be as effective as conventional CPR in the first few minutes of an emergency at home, at work, or in public.

Take two hours to learn and practice a skill that could save a life.
