Pack 585 had an awesome pinewood derby today. We had some really fast cars! Great time with family and friends. The Pizza song was especially fun. We might have to make it out Pinewood Derby anthem. Great big shout out to Mrs. Duchesne and all who volunteered to help out.

Last month the Arrow of Light Den joined Troop 546 and Skowhegan Troop 485 to run a sled at the annual Kennebec Valley District, Pine Tree Council -Scouting America Klondike Derby. It snowed most of the day, the den prepared a lunch that Troop 485 brought along, and we even got to spend some time on the slingshot range.

Pack 585 held a Blue and Gold supper tonight. We may be a small Pack but we sure know how to celebrate scouting and have fun doing it. Especially when it involves good food and games with cookies.

The AOLs, Mr. Baker, and Mr. Judkins are prepared the feed for the Pack 585 Blue and Gold thus evening. It sure does look and smells great.

Pack 585 held a great Crossover last night at Camp Bomazeen. 10 Cub Scouts ranked up. Five Arrow of Light scouts crossed over to Troop 546. Way to go Cubbies! A big "Thank You" To the parents and leaders who worked so hard to help these scouts achieve their goals.

The Pack 585 AOL's are parcipating in this fundraiser as well. If you want so.e fudge please reach to a scout or leader.

For the next two weeks, we will be selling Nick's Wicked Tasty Fudge! For $12, you can get a half pound block of any of the pictured flavors. Please reach out to one of our scouts or leaders if you are interested. This will be our last order fundraising effort before our scouts go to resident camp this summer.

Unfortunately, our Cake Auction is officially CANCELLED due to many conflicts, etc. We will work to get another smaller fundraiser going prior to the end of the year if possible. Stay tuned.
