A wonderful evening at the Holiday Stroll! BLA volunteers were welcomed by Ted and Lori at the Seven Lakes Inn as we introduced our prize wheel. It was great to see so many people out on the chilly night, enjoying the slice of heaven between our two cherished lakes.

With the generous support of our members, the BLA funds the work of managing invasives (primarily, milfoil) on Great Pond and Long Pond. But, we couldn’t do it without the flippers in the water! Thanks to Captain Mann and her faithful team for keeping such great track of our lakes! 🤿 🌱

🌧 Storm clouds can’t keep us away! 🌊

On October 27th, our Invasive Aquatics Dive Team pulled 12 gallons of invasive milfoil from Great Meadow Stream, wrapping up the 2025 dive season in true 7 Lakes style. 💪🐟

While we did notice a small uptick in milfoil growth this year, our total haul was just ~30 gallons — a huge improvement compared to the 50,000 gallons we used to remove each season before the herbicide treatment! 🙌

Here’s to continued progress, teamwork, and clearer waters ahead.

Some residents want to know who is operating the unmanned watercraft, which seem to be mapping the lake floor and have been seen elsewhere.

This last weekend’s member reception and annual meeting was a tremendous success. The BLA truly has the best members! Valuable information was shared, successes were celebrated, and our goals were set. A gorgeous, panoramic setting offered by Kyle, Margie, and team at the Belgrade Lakes Golf Club, with scrumptious hors d’ouerves and exemplary service from Rita's Catering.
