Next upcoming AC Event Training: Navigation!

Dead Reckoning, Latitude and Longitude, Tides and Currents, Three Bearing Fixes/ Triangulation, we will practice all of that, and take a look at three distinctive charts - Penobscot Bay, Maine, Mesquer, France, and Roskilde, Denmark.

Sunday April 26 11am - 12:30pm at the Rockweed Center, in Belfast

Monday April 27 3:30-5pm at the lower level of the UU Church, in Belfast

These offerings are free, and intended for any of the crewmembers heading to France and Denmark this summer. Led by .ris.ta.

Come join us this summer!

In the first part of the summer we’ll be training in Mesquer, France for the upcoming Atlantic Challenge International Contest of Seamanship before heading to Roskilde, Denmark to gather with a dozen nations at the Viking Ship Museum for the weeklong Contest.

At the end of July through the end of August we’ll be based on Greens Island in Penobscot Bay.

All ages programs. All experience levels. Sliding scale tuition. Come experience these unique 18th century design wooden boats, beautiful places, and build a great community!
