Belfast Area High School Student Senate As Belfast Area High School's largest and inter-grade-level student representative body, the Senate is responsible for a lot in the school community.

The Student Senate works closely with the faculty and school administration to improve school conditions. The senate also charters all clubs, aids in correlating activities, and assists in the planning of assemblies and other extra-curricular activities. The Senate promotes the growth of school spirit in every way. The Student Senate is responsible for many things in our school, including these an

The Student Senate is comprised of 20 elected officials – four individuals from each grade level, and four officers:
