Applications are currently available for Neighbor for Neighbor and Heroes 4 Hunger!
If you would like to volunteer for the Heroes 4 Hunger holiday food project, please reach out to WCAP at 338-6809 or [email protected].

A reminder that the deadline to apply for Thanksgiving food boxes is November 1st. Applications can be downloaded from our website at: https://waldocap.org/neighbor-for-neighbor/

Printed applications can be picked up at the WCAP office or at your town office.

Neighbor for Neighbor provides free holiday food boxes and gifts for children. Applications are processed on a “first come, first served” basis, so please complete one as soon as you can.

Important Dates for 2022:
• Thanksgiving application deadline: Tuesday, Nov.1st
• Thanksgiving food boxes delivered: Saturday, Nov.19th
• Christmas application deadline: Thursday, Dec.1st
• Christmas food boxes delivered: Saturday, Dec.17th

WCAP provides transportation services to residents of Waldo, Knox, Lincoln, and Sagadahoc counties as well as the communities of Brunswick and Harpswell through our MidCoast Public Transportation and MidCoast Connector Maine Care transportation programs. These services provide access for community members to medical services, work, shopping, social events and more.

Waldo CAP is seeking a full-time Community Partnership Coordinator to work on such fantastic projects as Heroes 4 Hunger, Neighbor for Neighbor, the Cinderella Project and more! The person is this position also assists with volunteer and donor engagement and agency outreach.

Rollie's Bar & Grill and Colburn Shoe Store are teaming up to offer Thanksgiving dinner!

Don't want to cook? Don't want to reheat your food? Come pick up a free Thanksgiving dinner between 10:30am and 11:30am on Thanksgiving day. Meals can be picked up at the rear of our building. First come First serve!
Donations accepted but not required.
All donations will be put towards buying socks for sock drive!

We are looking for individuals or families who are interested in adopting children through our Neighbor for Neighbor program. Here’s how it works: The individuals or families tell us how many children they can adopt, we pair them with the kids, they receive the children’s wish lists, and either we deliver the presents or they can. Give us a call if you are interested!
