We are having our annual down east ride this Saturday 9/17/16. Meet at the Irving station in Searsport. We will be kickstands up at 9:30. Looks like good weather so come one come all.

Waldo County UBM will continue to have their meetings on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30. The meetings will be at 45A Lincolnville Ave in Belfast. This is on the corner of Lincolnville Ave and Alto St (Kitty corner from "The Muck")

Our Waldo County Chapter is no longer meeting at the Belfast Soup Kitchen on Field St. We are meeting at the Northport VFW on the second Wed. at 6:30 PM. We had our election and all our officers are the same except for Secretary. I was elected to that position. Stay tuned for an announcement as to where we will meet during the winter. Northport VFW is closed during the winter months. In other Motorcycling news, I have been elected Chapter Commander of Chapter 17-2 Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association. Also, progress on the Garry Owen House is slow but sure. We have procured the majority of the permits necessary to begin construction. What we need now is a strong effort to raise money so that we can begin. Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. "Bear"
