About our Critical Repair Program 🛠
The US Census shows that 80.9% of Waldo County’s housing units are owner-occupied. The county’s high poverty rate and older homes mean many residents need help stabilizing and improving their homes.

Our repair program makes critical improvements and modifications to help lower-income homeowners remain safely in their homes. To date, we have built and installed handicap ramps to homes in Lincolnville and Brooks and repaired dangerous steps and added a handrail to a Swanville home.
