🍰👩‍🍳 That's a wrap on Cooking Club for the 2025-2026 school year! 👨‍🍳🍰

We ended the year on a sweet note by making two delicious desserts: an Oreo Poke Cake and a Strawberry Shortcake Poke Cake! Our teens had a great time mixing, baking, decorating, and, of course, taste-testing their creations.

Cooking Club has been such a fun way for members to build kitchen skills, try new recipes, work together, and gain confidence throughout the year. We are so proud of all the amazing dishes our teens have made this school year!

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make Cooking Club a success. While we're taking a break for the summer, don't worry—we'll be bringing Cooking Club back at the beginning of the next school year!

Have a safe and fun summer, and we'll see you in the kitchen again soon! 🍓🍫🎂

Attention: the last day of Club for the school year will be this Friday, June 12th! We will not be open the week of June 15th-19th. We will be using that time to get Club turned around for our summer program which starts on June 22nd!

Our summer program runs June 22 – August 21, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, offering a full day of fun, learning, and adventure for kids 6 years old to 12th grade here at our North Mason Branch located in Belfair.

Kids and teens in other school districts welcome! The Mason County Dial-A-Ride will go to and from our Club!

From games and outdoor activities to creative projects and friendships that last a lifetime and awesome field trips, this is the place to be all summer long! 🚣‍♂️🏈⚽🎨

🎮 The HiFi Room will be open for video games, pool, foosball, ping pong, and more!
🎲 The STEAM Room will host our ongoing D&D campaign — new players are always welcome!
🎥 The LoFi Room will feature summer themed games and a summer movie!

🍗 Dinner will include BBQ chicken, baked beans, potato salad, and fresh fruit!

This is a FREE event and ALL teens are welcome — including teens from other school districts, homeschool students, and online learners! 💙

🚒🔥 What an incredible experience for our teens!

As part of our 3-day CPR and First Aid partnership with the North Mason Regional Fire Authority, Chief Beau Bakken personally stopped by to give our teens an up-close look at a real fire engine and the important work firefighters do every day.

The teens had a blast exploring every inch of the truck, sitting inside the cab, sounding the sirens, and asking lots of great questions. It was a hands-on learning opportunity that gave them a better understanding of emergency services and the people who help keep our community safe.

A huge thank you to Chief Beau Bakken and the North Mason Regional Fire Authority for taking the time to share your knowledge, answer questions, and create such a memorable experience for our youth. We are grateful for your partnership and commitment to educating the next generation! 🚒❤️

Today our teens had an incredible opportunity to participate in a Stop the Bleed training with Carl from the North Mason Regional Fire Authority 🚑🩹

Using a realistic prosthetic arm and colored cornstarch to simulate bleeding, teens learned hands-on how to properly stop a severe bleed using a tourniquet. They even had the chance to have Carl place a tourniquet on their arms (without tightening it) to better understand how it works in a real emergency situation.

We are so thankful to Carl and the North Mason Fire Authority for taking the time to teach our teens these important lifesaving skills and helping build their confidence in emergency situations! 👏
