As our fundraising campaign slowly pushes forward, we now have a very rough draft of a majority of the steps we need in order to complete our cosmetic restoration and preservation of M.190. Since it's December, I figured I'd compile a Christmas wishlist for some of our missing components.
When beginning this endeavor, I realized very quickly we are lacking some of the fundamental paperwork in order to identify proper appliances and parts missing from the locomotive. We don't have any part numbers or manufacturer brands for a majority of our components, both remaining on the artifact, as well as what is missing.
This makes it extremely difficult to source correct appearing components such as the bell, the rear mounted airborne (recently we discovered the locomotive even had one after investigating John Mccall's book "The Doodlebugs")
So now we would like to ask the public for some help. We are looking:
1. for any documentation regarding m.190 with specific emphasis on wiring diagrams (low voltage primarily), overhaul documentation from any of her major overhauls
2. Bell manufacturer and part numbers
3. Where to potentially source a suitable replacement for our missing bell
4. A second "honker" horn to replace our missing rear mounted unit.
