DIEGO VALLE

Diego Valle has evolved as an artist without ever losing the initial rush of passion that initially pushed him into the electronic music world. Over the years, he’s developed a sound that is unique and influential by exploring the connective threads between Deep House, House, Tech House, Afro House, Minimal, and Techno.

Diego launched his own imprint, LTHM, in 2012 as an avenue for him to release his own music. Over the years it has become an internationally recognized label with over 135 releases from various artist worldwide. He has also released music for labels such as: Purveyor Underground, Late Night Munchies, Listen:React, Miaw, Constructive Cycle, Dream Mode, HMNI Music, Selekta Recordings, Uniting Souls Music, Phantom Recordings, Vursatil, and Ravesta Records as well as his own imprint LTHM. There’s a clearly defined, but pliable and versatile sound to his productions that marks him as a truly talented producer. You can find a taste of his style on his weekly podcast also under the name LTHM, which has over 835 episodes since its inception in 2011.

Over the years he’s been involved with various local electronic music events such as Sol*Sundaze, a day time summer outdoor party, HMNI all night warehouse events and more recently Saucy, a yearly celebration. Diego has played from Seattle, Washington to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and his local region Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area in his home state of California. With over 30
years’ experience as a DJ, he is well versed in taking on the decks for any time slot and environment, from opening sets, outdoor events, to closing out warehouse parties and everything in between. The constant flow of creativity will keep him focused as he continues on his musical journey where he creates a path which reflects his vision, passion, and love of music.

DJ DENNIS
(Selekta Recordings, HMNI, Pelvic Movements)

There’s a word that has followed Dennis his entire span in the music industry: Selekta.
Borrowed from Jamaican sound system culture, it’s more than a role — it’s who he is, the person who guides you on your musical journey. A Selekta behind the decks, running a label, or sharing rare vinyl, DJ Dennis has always been about guiding people toward something worth feeling through the music.

That path began in 1992 at a party in Oakland, where he experienced a rare sense of unity on the dance floor — diverse people connected purely through music; House, Techno, Funk, and Breaks, all in the same night. A year later, watching Evil Eddie Richards command a massive crowd on three turntables, Dennis saw firsthand the power a DJ could have with their music, and the journey to Djing took flight. Within a short time, Dennis was DJing House and Techno at various raves and clubs throughout the area, and beyond.

By 1998, he became part of The Selekta, an early online platform streaming live DJ sets from remote locations while doubling as an electronic music zine. Again, Dennis was put in a role to push music to new audiences, writing record reviews, party reviews, interviews with artists and promoters, and more. It was ahead of its time and laid the foundation, helping to establish so many musical connections for Dennis’ future.
A move to Philadelphia in 2002 deepened his perspective. Immersed in the city’s underground house and arts scene, Dennis developed a lasting respect for creation and community. In 2006, working with Worship Recordings reinforced a core belief: energy is shared, and what you contribute is what makes it meaningful.

That philosophy became Selekta Recordings in 2007. What started as a small collective has grown into a respected label nearing 170 releases, and over 50 artists from around the globe, spanning house, techno, breaks, downtempo, funk, jazz, and soul — always expressive, never formulaic, and built for movement.

Now based in Washington State, Dennis continues to DJ, release music worldwide, and curate his passion online. Through his YouTube channel, I Got That On Vinyl, he showcases a collection of rare dance records, while his label’sl YouTube channel, Selekta Rekordings, hosts not only all the label’s new releases, but also his ongoing Hoodsport House Dj mix series.
Beyond music, Dennis and his wife create as IFLY Art,(www.iflyart.com) producing original, one of a kind art and music influenced merch, solely for community dance events. This year’s Soul Camp, you can expect the lively array of vinyl record art, apparel, and other spray art, but also find the exclusive, first ever, Soul Camp Music Vinyl Samper (vol 1) to celebrate the community, djs, and artists with a true time piece of music only for this year’s event.

Over three decades in, DJ Dennis is still doing what a Selekta does best: finding and sharing the sound, energy, and moving the people with good music.

(Soul Deluxe SF)

DJ Theo was born in Romania. His Mom & Dad brought him to America (Fremont) when he was only 5 years old. Fortunately, he did not have to struggle with the dictatorship that ruled the country for over 50 years. His father exposed him to quality music at a young age Ranging from ABBA to Michael Jackson to KC & The Sunshine Band. These artists helped shape his love for Disco and Funk, eventually, becoming a hybrid of House Music.

He started his own "Theoretical Soul Recordings" label in 2012, and in 2018, he teamed up with his buddy, Mario Dubbz, to create "Soul Deluxe" which strives to bring quality House Music to the San Francisco Bay Area. Now that he is a Father, he cannot always be out on the weekends, or late nights, but he tries his best to help support on Social Media and peaks his head in once in a while if the party is kicking.

As for the Future, Theo aims to take Soul Deluxe to a new level and, hopefully, reach out to friends who typically do not come to events due to family and child responsibilities. This is why Soul Deluxe is Family & Pet Friendly. It gives everyone a chance to come out. Much Love

NICK GARCIA
(Rare Static, Funky Farm, FRESH)

A Bay Area transplant from Orange County, California, Nick Garcia (aka DJ Nick G) grew up in a household filled with musical expression. He began playing various instruments at a young age, discovering his knack for music early on. When he was introduced to house music in ’95 at the age of 13, he fell in love. He soon acquired a set of turntables and never looked back.

Since then, Nick has made a name for himself, spearheading standout house events of all shapes and sizes with various crews in both L.A. and the Bay Area, often featuring world-class talent. He has also contributed to the scene from the studio, releasing original tracks and remixes on labels such as Vinyl Assassins, Soluble Recordings, Jump Recordings, Ginkgo Music, Marinated Music, MONOSIDE, Uniting Souls, and Dufflebag. His work has appeared on numerous compilations, most notably Fabric 56: Derrick Carter. He later partnered with Oscar Miranda to form the dynamic producer/DJ duo Rare Static, and in 2010 took on the role of label boss for the Funky Farm imprint, along with his honorary “group activity leader” duties.

While Nick draws much of his inspiration from West Coast and Chicago underground house, his sound spans a wide range—from deep and soulful to jackin’ and funky—with touches of tribal and tech house. Known for his energetic, bouncy, and groove-driven style, he can rock both nightclubs and ultra lounges while feeling equally at home in a dark, gritty warehouse setting.

This will be Nick’s second time officially gracing the decks at Soul Camp. Last year, he and the Funky Farm crew brought the vibes to host a proper and unforgettable after-party to close out the weekend in 2025. This year, they’ll team up with Lovely Day to run it back!

MICHELLE SANZ
(Soul Camp, Housewives)

Bay area California native, Michelle Sanz, found her first true love at a very young age. That love became like air to breathe to fill every part of her spirit and soul, that helped navigate through life. She fell in love with MUSIC.

When that love affair began, Michelle refused to go anywhere without her walkman and had to stop at every Musicland, Sam Goody, Tower records, or Camelot music store to peep the latest cassette tapes. She would dance around blaring 90’s pop or let’s just face it- the Little Mermaid soundtrack- straight fire at that time.

At the age of 5, Michelle danced tap for a few years and got back into dancing again at the age of 15, when she became a part of a hip hop dance collective called ‘Jam Squad’. She took dance class in school which introduced her to different movements and styles such as Salsa.

Michelle has always had a passion for searching for the best music; the newest, the underground, the underdogs, the soundtracks, and the B-side tracks that would never see the light of day as mainstream would saturate the radio. If there was dope music out there, well know, or unknown, Michelle would listen and listen some more.

One of her favorite past times was the, “You can’t really go wrong” experiment- For only 0.99 cents, there were cassette singles at Tower records of artists no one had ever heard of; thus would be given a chance. She had an audience as she began sharing her hidden gems with friends, “Having a dancer’s ear definitely plays a huge role in the music I select for the crowd, because I know what makes the body move. I love playing on both sides of the decks.”

Later, Michelle became a house dancer and her love for house music, dance circles, and the culture inspired her to get more involved in the scene. She developed a burning desire to become a dj.

Spending countless hours listening and digging in crates, chasing the adrenaline rush of getting her hands on that one, heater of a jam, and thankful for the glory of such a treasure after 8 hours of digging through records, she stayed focused, learned from mentors, and would go home on her lunch breaks from work and practice mixing, as her vinyl collection continued to grow.

Michelle’s dream came to life. Personality, creativity, and charisma are reflected through her energy and versatile musical selections, sprinkling in tracks that only a, like-minded, music aficionado would know about. She was one of the original co-founders of Bay Area's all-female house dj crew, the Housewives, the sister group to the Housemen. At times referred to as “the Parties’ DJ” or the “Party starter”, Michelle provides an arsenal of deep, soulful, funky, afro, nu-disco, and tech house to keep the party and dancefloor jumpin’.

Michelle has graced the decks in world class venues- the infamous Endup, Temple, Mars Bar, Mission Rock, the Continental, Cardiff and Cocktails, Monarch, Ruby Skye, 7th West, and many more. Being a part of the Soul Camp collective for over 2 decades, Michelle is full of gratitude when playing at her favorite campout, as those sets are fun and memorable.

The Bay Area staple has had the honor of playing out in clubs around the map- from Vegas, to Hollywood, to Hawaii, to Miami. She has played alongside some of the house greats she admires- David Harness, Mr. V, Mark Farina, Ruben Mancias, and Julius Papp, to name a few. By reading the crowd, she would choose the music to keep the energy high, taking the dance floor on a melodic journey. Behind the decks or on the floor, you will feel her energy through the house scene we love to be a part of.

Rossi has been energizing dance floors for over 30 years. A former resident DJ with Northern California’s premier party organization, Feelgood Entertainment, his passion for music began at age 10, inspired by his father's own musical career. Rossi’s early experience with instruments like the trumpet, trombone, and drums evolved into a love for DJing, introduced to him by friends in the local scene.

His DJ career officially launched in 1997 with the support of longtime friend and well-known DJ, Ian Lewis (aka Kid Loose). Since then, Rossi has performed at major Bay Area venues such as Home Base, Maritime Hall, and Club Ibiza, and at iconic events including Love Affair, Mega Buzz, Splendor Bender, and San Francisco’s Love Parade and Pride Parade.

Rossi has claimed titles in two of San Francisco’s Ultimate DJ contests and has been featured on radio stations like Energy 92.7, 89.9, and 102.5. And Vibe 99.7 Vegas, His affiliations include respected party crews like Woot Kryptonite, Field Junkies, Flat Lanz, Just Us Kids, Shaolin, and Unit-E Tribe FeelGood. With a versatile style spanning from hip hop to house, Rossi’s dynamic sets and connection with the crowd make every performance memorable.

OMAR JOHNSON

Detroit born and now Houston based, Omar Johnson is a House DJ and producer with over 15 years behind the decks. Deeply rooted in the traditions of Chicago and Detroit house, his sound draws inspiration from pioneers like Derrick Carter, Jesse Saunders, and Marshall Jefferson while delivering a modern, uplifting groove built for the dancefloor.

A longtime staple of the Bay Area scene, Omar spent nearly a decade as a resident DJ for beloved Oakland events Sunday Bliss, Soulful Camp, and Days Like This, earning a reputation for soulful selections, tight mixing, and an ability to move crowds from warm-up to peak-time with ease.

Whether in the booth or the studio, Omar’s focus remains the same: soulful, uplifting house music that keeps the floor moving and the energy high.
