Join us for a great time supporting the Belchertown Police Officers’ Association and Belchertown Firefighters’ Association. Register by July 25th to guarantee your event t-shirt. Sign up today and help us make this year’s event the biggest one yet!

Last night, on duty members of the Belchertown Police Department and Belchertown Fire Department, as well as Police Chief Pacunas, stopped by the Belchertown Little League Softball game. This game featured the Belchertown Fire Responders team, which is sponsored by our police association and the Belchertown Firefighters Local 5042. Chief Pacunas even threw out the first pitch for this game.

Using money raised from our previous wing eating contest, we sponsored this team and have been buying snacks, waters & Gatorades for the players.

Join us for the first-ever Belchertown First Responders 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Arcpoint Brewing Co. in Belchertown. Hosted by the Belchertown Police Officers’ Association and Belchertown Firefighters Association, this community event supports two local organizations dedicated to giving back.

Registration begins at 10:00 AM, with the race starting at 11:30 AM. Early runner registration is $30 through May 31, with walker registration at $25. Shirts are guaranteed for runners and walkers who register by July 25.

Stick around after the race for live music from local band “D.B. Cooper” starting at 1:00 PM, plus runners 21+ can enjoy a complimentary post-race beer from the Arcpoint Brewing Co.

In February, we raised money with the Belchertown Firefighters Local 5042 through a Wing Eating Contest to help sponsor a Belchertown Little League softball team. This team (Belchertown First Responders) is playing tonight at CHCS. Please come out and support them!
