Our Plans:

With our help, Belchertown Animal Control will be able to provide a safe and healthy environment for our animals and transition these animals into our community by providing:
• Adoption Services – Providing careful placement of adoptable animals
• Networking with AniMatch- Evaluating and accepting transfers of adoptable animals from a facility who cannot otherwise provide appropriate p

lacement
• Animal Care
- Partnering with local Veterinarians to provide the best care for our shelter animals, including spaying/neutering all of a adoptable animals prior to placement
- Arranging easily accessible rabies and microchip clinics
- Assisting our community with trapping, spaying/neutering and vaccinating feral cats
• Wildlife Care- Picking up and transporting wildlife to local rehabilitators
• Educate
- Provide adoption counseling
- Implement in-school programs directed at developing the next generation of responsible pet owners
- Giving shelter tours
- Participating in community events
