MASEN is hiring!
Title: Network Weaver
The Massachusetts Solidarity Economy Network seeks a part-time Network Weaver to help coordinate our network, support event planning, and communication. This is a two year consultant position, with further extension contingent upon fundraising.
The Massachusetts Solidarity Economy Network (MASEN) is a growing movement of people and communities across the Commonwealth building regenerative, reparative, post-capitalist futures. MASEN aims to strengthen the solidarity economy (SE) through (1) shared vision & education, (2) trust-building relationships, and (3) collaboration, movement building and SE practice/infrastructure development. The state has a rich array of SE practices, including worker and consumer cooperatives, community land trusts, time bank/social currencies, mutual aid, community gardening, to name a few. MASEN helps to connect up these different sectors of the SE because together we are not only more powerful and coherent, but we also build towards system transformation.
We hold an annual two day Solidarity Economy Festival & Gathering, generally in the summer. Location shifts to different parts of the state.
