Part Two Dance Company

Part Two Dance Company Part Two Dance Company is a group of individuals whose goal is to entertain and enrich the lives of the community through the art of dance.

The Part Two Dance Company is a registered 501(3) (c) non-profit performing group affiliated with County Ballet Dance Studio and is under the direction of Pamela Lauer. Member of the company range in age from nine through adult and are selected through auditions. Participants range from trainee to company members based on skill and experience. The dance company provides an educational experience f

or people interested in the art of dance. Dancers are exposed to all aspects of the performing environment, from communicating rehearsal schedules, running the technical aspects to performing on stage. Dancers are also expected to assist in the areas of costuming, props and scenery. We believe, this approach, give the dancers a well rounded background regarding what is involved in putting on a show.

Per Ms Diane, here's a breakdown rehearsal schedule:

We have 4 special group rehearsals for all perfomers:

Saturday, October 19, 2-3:30
Saturday, November 9, 2-3:30
Saturday, November 16, 2-3:30 (dress rehearsal)
Saturday, December 7, 2-3:30
In addition, please attend any Saturday, 2-3:30, as you are able (no rehearsal Nov. 30).

Individual rehearsals are as follows:

Liturgical (religious) piece-Saturday 2:00 (no rehearsal Nov. 30)
Ice Storm (Adult Ballet)-Wednesday, 8:35 (no rehearsal Nov. 27)
Storm Driven Away-Tuesday, 8:00 (for "B" Ballet) and Wednesday, 8:35 (for Adult Ballet) (no rehearsal Nov. 27) (PLEASE NOTE: any adults who are able are welcome to attend the Tuesday rehearsal, and any "B" Ballet who are able are welcome to attend the Wednesday rehearsal)
Snow Queens ("B" Ballet)-Tuesday, 8:00
Holly and Ivy ("A" Ballet & Ballet 1 & 2)-Friday, 5-6:30 (no rehearsal Nov. 29)
Snow Garlands (Adult Ballet)-Wednesday, 8:35 (no rehearsal Nov. 27)
Snow Queen en pointe-Thursday, 5:45 (no rehearsal Nov. 28)
Promenade (finale)-Saturday, 2:00 (no rehearsal Nov. 30) (this piece is for everybody listed above)
Tap Dancing Santas (Adult Tap)-Monday, 8:30
Snow Bunnies (littles)-Monday, 6:00
All of the other numbers (Rudolph, audience participation, etc.) will be rehearsed on Saturdays, as we get closer to December
