Don't miss our speakers on Saturday - Dr. Giora Netzer and Dr. Mary Speth.

Dr. Netzer has been Senior Vice President, Chief Medical Officer at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health since 2025. Dr. Netzer’s research and advocacy for patients and families, both in the acute care setting and afterward, inform his work in patient experience – an area he recognizes for its importance in caring for and supporting his patients. We are excited to have him join us to share how families can advocate for their loved ones in care.

Dr. Mary Speth is a Licensed Psychologist with CounterPoint Health Services. Dr. Speth has spent decades supporting individuals and families navigating neurocognitive challenges, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Her presentation, “Caring for the Caregivers,” will focus on the emotional and practical challenges caregivers face—and how to better support them through the journey.
