I just discovered a storage room here in town, that was ours at some point, that has items like a crib, clothing, Easter items, some toys, good plastic bins with lids. And other items. If you have a truck items are yours. If interested call me today at 956-270-2284. Must be cleared today. Won't cost you a penny. Items are dusty but not trash.

Anything helps. This wonderful organization has provided hundreds of NEW bags to the Foster kids in Beeville and all South Texas. They help take care of OUR kids.

Abandonment issues - even in my own family. My 3 adopted siblings have grown up in a stable, open, loving and secure environment and they still struggle with abandonment issues. They were adopted at a very early age as well but these feelings are real and universal in the foster care system. Feelings of shame, perfectionism, depression, anxiety, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, codependency, unworthy, feeling inadequate and difficulty trusting. THIS IS OUR WHY! Anything we can provide to the foster youth community that will create a sense of stability, dignity, hope and self-worth. We cannot heal the hurt but we can definitely bring hope to them.

Day 1 Bags mission is to sustain programs and projects that provide necessary resources to these youth.
