Beecher City Educational Foundation Our purpose is to ensure that all children within Unit 20 are provided with the finest possible learning opportunities.

Mission Statement:

The Beecher City Educational Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to enhance the classroom experience and to assist the pursuit of higher education for Unit 20 students. In order to provide these benefits, the foundation seeks to generate funds not originally allocated to the district.

To start the day off the CHBC Cheerleaders will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs with sides, for an additional fee!

It’s supposed to be great weather on Saturday! It’s not too late to join in on the fun, you can register at the Pit Stop between 11 AM and 12:30 PM! Prizes/baskets will be handed out at each stop, a 50/50 drawing, and possibly some other fun activities are planned (pending weather)!

The stops will include:
Pit Stop
Barn & Bottle Winery
Mark and Nancy Wolf’s
The Lumberyard
Shawn and Kim Miller’s (a free meal will be served)

The foundation allows teachers to apply for grants, twice a year, so they can incorporate special projects that they wouldn’t normally do. This year Mrs. Peterson’s junior high math classes earned supplies to complete fun activities related to Pi Day! Today they completed a paper chain, that included more than 800 links of the Pi mathematical constant! They also were able to enjoy a slice of pie!

Pictured are the 6th graders working hard to get the paper chain completed and hung!
