Good Evening Everyone!!

Thank you for signing up to help make Beech Mountain a cleaner place. As you know, the Cleanup is currently scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday May 4th from 8am to 2pm. Unfortunately, the current weather forecast isn't looking promising for being out along the roads for pickup (unless you enjoy being out in torrential rains, perhaps...) We have made the tough decision to alter the plans for tomorrow. With that said, your Chamber crew has come up with a revised Cleanup plan that may just result in even more trash being collected!
The Community Cleanup will now become a week-long event, starting tomorrow, May 4th at 10:00am and continuing until next Saturday, May 11th at 12:00pm.
You may come by Public Works tomorrow Saturday, May 4th between 10:00am and 12:00pm to pick up bags, gloves, and other clean up supplies. After that, you may stop by Buckeye Rec Center during normal business hours and get those supplies at the front counter.
When you pick up your trash, be sure to take a picture of everything you collected before bringing it by the recycling center! Please send pictures to [email protected] by next Saturday, May 11th at 12:00pm. Be sure to include where you found your items.
When you send your pictures, our Chamber Crew will vote on the categories below. Winners will receive gift card prizes thanks to our special sponsors! Winners will be announced by Monday, May 13th.
