We were incredibly honored to present a donation to Angel Wings of Lake Travis in support of their beautiful mission and to celebrate everything they have done for AEKF! 🧵

Angel Wings creates handmade, sewn items that bring comfort and care to children and families facing difficult challenges. They are the heart behind the handmade stockings for our Pink Santa program, helping us distribute over 200 stockings to children just last year! They’re also the creative hands behind the lovely notebooks we include in our care baskets.

Their generosity touches so many lives, including the exact families we serve. Thank you, Angel Wings of Lake Travis, for sharing your time, incredible talents and hearts with our community! 🤍

Last week, AEKF had the incredible opportunity to visit Our Hospice House - Central Texas.

Seeing their beautiful, community-based home for adults in action was deeply moving and so inspiring. It gave us a tangible look at what is possible when a community comes together to provide a peaceful, comforting environment for families when they need it most. 🤍

Every step we take brings us closer to building Abbey House—which will be the very first pediatric respite and hospice facility right here in Texas. Seeing spaces like Our Hospice House reminds us exactly why this mission matters so much.

A huge thank you to Colton’s Hope for hosting such a beautiful Afternoon of Love & Lavender. 💜 Founded in honor of Colton Bauer, Colton’s Hope supports individuals with rare chromosome disorders and disabilities while creating spaces rooted in compassion, faith, and community. We’re so grateful for the warmth, hospitality, and thoughtful activities that made the afternoon so special.

We were honored to briefly share the stories of our incredible children and the mission that continues to drive our work each day. It’s always powerful to come together with organizations that share a heart for serving children and families with complex needs as we continue building a stronger community of support for medically fragile children and their families. 🦋

AEKF had a wonderful time at the 2026 Austin Nonprofits Strategy Summit hosted by Texas Capital! Held at the beautiful Westwood Country Club, the day was filled with learning, collaboration, and meaningful conversations with fellow nonprofit leaders in our community. 💛
