‼️‼️ We will NOT be distributing food August 16‼️‼️

We received a delivery from Brazos Valley Food Bank but it is not enough to make food boxes. At this time we are unable to have any food delivered and we have not heard of there is any to pick up. We have high hopes that we will be able to distribute food in September. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and if you are in desperate need of food please visit the Iola Food Pantry or any other in Grimes County. If you call the Sonshine Center in Madisonville they might be able to help you also.

‼️Please be aware of our time change‼️ Starting in August the pantry will be open from 8:00 am - 10:00 am.

Flyers were put in boxes on July 19,2025.

Thank you to everyone for returning the banana boxes! Please bring them back on pantry day or set them on the front porch!

We are planning to open the following warming centers on Monday at 7:00 am:

Bedias Fire Department, Iola Fire Department, Anderson City Hall, Richards Fire Department, Plantersville Fire Department, Whitehall Fire Department and Todd Mission City Hall. These warming centers will be open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm from Monday, 20 January to Wednesday, 22 January. Depending on the weather we will consider keeping them open longer if they are still needed after Wednesday.
