The Aero Club of New England (ACONE) is first and foremost a social club for people that share a passion for flight; for active pilots, former pilots, and non-pilots alike who love to learn about flying, love to talk about flying, and love to promote flying. Our ranks range from the obscure to the legendary, yet all members contribute to a progressive and vibrant climate that inspires the special

joie de vivre that only flying can bring. Past members have made significant contributions to aviation and are considered New England's Aviation Legends. Driven by our members' wide and varied interests, ACONE hosts many social events throughout the year; co-produces safety seminars with the FAA and the AOPA Air Safety Foundation; manages and awards over a dozen educational scholarships for pilots and aviation technicians; and advocates with federal, state, and local regulators for the advancement of flight.

ACONE showed up in full force to celebrate the one and only Mike Goulian — and what a turnout it was.

From aspiring aviators to seasoned professionals, the room was filled with energy, admiration, and a shared passion for flight. We gathered not just to honor a world-class aerobatic champion, but to celebrate the discipline, precision, and relentless pursuit of excellence that Michael represents.

Michael’s career is a masterclass in commitment — from dominating the aerobatic stage to inspiring the next generation of pilots to push beyond limits. His story reminds us that greatness isn’t built in a single moment. It’s built in the quiet hours of preparation, the setbacks, the comebacks, and the courage to keep climbing.
