September Pack Meeting - 2026-2027 Pack 170 Season Kick-Off! We were excited to see everyone back, and have new faces join us, as we kicked off the new season of adventure in Pack 170. We were at Westmoreland Sanctuary, taking an evening hike ahead of the rain, and getting to meet our new Dens and Den Leaders as we worked on our first adventure: The Bobcat (leadership). Thank you to all our Den Leaders this year! It's going to be a great season!

2026 Veteran Grave Flag Replacement Service. We are again honored to participate, along with Troop 1 and the American Legion, in the replacement of the Veteran memorial flags in our local town cemeteries. This is an annual service project in readiness for Memorial Day Ceremonies. It is a great opportunity for our Cubs to see the history around them and participate in an important ritual to help us remember and honor our past. Thank you to all the Pack Families who came out; great job Scouts!

Service Project - Riverkeeper cleaning up in Bedford Hills. Thank you to the Pack Families who came out to help clean up the Railroad Ave. Thank you to Riverkeepers for organizing this great effort to help clean up our community and reduce pollution in our local water. Hope everyone can drive by and see how improved the roadside is! And there is more to come; we hope to have more clean-up service projects as it warms up! Great job Pack 170!

April Campout - Philadelphia, Cradle of Liberty Adventure! As part of our exploring US History on the eve of the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we had a great time this last weekend at the Independence Hall National Park! We got to walk around the park and see key sites in the nation's beginnings, including the Liberty Bell, the First Congress building, and Independence Hall itself.

After earning their Junior Ranger badges and checking out the bustling Reading Terminal Market, we headed up to Musser Scout Reservation to cabin camp. The Cubs build an epic campfire, built rafts to sail on the local stream, and enjoyed hand-made Philly cheese steaks! A huge thank you to all our families for making the trip and working together to make this a great campout!

March 19th, 2026 - March Pack Meeting
We had a great Pack meeting at Westmoreland Sanctuary, taking an evening hike around the preserve to look for early signs of spring life, from the new conservation area to the vernal pools! A huge, huge thank you to Josh of Westmoreland Sanctuary for leading the hike. Great night learning about our local ecosystem as the season changes. Happy Spring!
