This is a reminder that tomorrow, Saturday May 9, is livestock weigh-in and tagging at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.
Important notes:
If you did not attend the April 28 tagging, then you must come to this tagging.
Youth participating in Rate of Gain (Sheep and Goats) must attend.
When arriving at the Fairgrounds, swine should continue straight through the circle along where the food trucks typically park. Goats, sheep, and cattle should drive behind the Expo Hall. Sheep and goats should park behind the sheep barn. Cattle drives in between the sheep and cattle barn.
Excluded animals: Cats, dogs, horses, poultry, rabbits,
and dairy calves not yet born by tagging.
Mini 4-H: Minis do not need to attend tagging unless they are
bringing their own animals, in which case Indiana
BOAH tagging requirements apply.
Tag cost: $5 per tag (some animals require two)
All Animal ID information must be entered into
4HOnline by May 15. You will need your Premise ID
number for:

Animal ID entry in 4HOnline
Due to budget‑related staff reductions, there will not
be staff available in the Community Building to assist
with 4HOnline this year. Families are strongly encouraged to enter animals early so corrections can be made before the deadline.
