Join rail history author William Deen on a tour of Bedford Depot Park, including the historic buildings, restored railcar, museum displays and outside areas. Deen explains the significance of these relating to Bedford’s century as a rail terminal on the B&M’s Lexington Branch (1873–1977). Up to one mile of walking for those interested in artifacts short distances beyond the park.

This program is offered by the Friends of Bedford Depot Park as part of the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History, an annual month-long celebration showcasing events and activities hosted by local partners celebrating the unique places, objects, and stories of the Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area. Hidden Treasures programs are free and open to the public.
