We saw a fabulous performance of Camelot tonight, presented by Upright Theatre Co., a nonprofit local theatre and recipient of a grant from Arts DFW. The show is in its final weekend. Go see it if you can! You'll be glad you did! 👑 ⚔️

Beautiful concert presented by Northeast Orchestra, May 15 at their Spring season finale. The highlight was the grande orchestra playing five movements of “The Planets” by Holst. They opened the evening with a little Mozart, but for me the high point was the two young scholarship winners playing Mendelssohn and Lalo Concertos. Of particular note was the 14 year old All-State virtuoso violinist playing Mendelssohn with such clarity and agility. This is an orchestra to support with your gifts as well as your attendance and is a recipient of an Arts DFW Grant.

Northeast Orchestra’s final performance of the season was held on May 15 for an appreciative audience of faithful followers who enjoyed Mozart, Mendelssohn, Lalo, and the large orchestral production “The Planets” by Holst. It was my great pleasure to hear the two student scholarship winners, and particularly the virtuoso All-State violinist, who at age 14 played the Mendelssohn Concerto flawlessly. Wonderful concert by all!
