August 21st from 9 AM until 12 noon we will be holding this month's distribution.
If you live in any other school district besides Bedford (with the exception of Buffalo Mills south to Hyndman) you will need to call the Center for Community action at 814-623-9129 extension nine and they will give you the information you would be assigned to.

If you're signing up for the first time, in addition to proof of your address, you will also need to know your entire household's monthly income as well as the names and birthdays of everyone in your household. If you're not sure about the income, scroll down we have a chart on here showing you how much money you're allowed to make in order to qualify for a Food Pantry.

Tractor trailer load of assorted salads at Fishers Country Store being given away as long as they last. We have plenty left so if you're not in your PJs and you want some free salads, come on out too Fisher's country Store.

Here are 28 of 29 volunteers who attended the Bedford Food Outreach Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at Hoss' today. We have great volunteers who give their time and effort to keep the pantry operating efficiently, and these are just a few of them! A heartfelt thank you -God bless you all!

This month's distribution is on Friday, June 19th from 9 AM until 12 noon.

If you are signing up, you must live in the Bedford school district (except for those living in Buffalo Mills South through Hyndman. Those families must attend the Hyndman food pantry), you must KNOW your entire household income in order to qualify. You will need your photo ID and you will need to list all members of your household along with their date of birth. Please bring a box or laundry basket to put your food in. We have people in the parking lot that can help put that container in your car for you. If you do not live in the Bedford school district, you need to call the center for community action at 814-623-9129 ext 9 and they will direct you to which Pantry you would go to.

PLEASE NOTE: DISTRIBUTION IS ON THE THIRD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH.

We will also continue to have a make up day the following Monday in case you miss Friday's distribution.

We try to do as much as we can to help our clients but we do not offer delivery service. We realize that sometimes our clients cannot get to the Pantry to pick up their food on the distribution day or the following make up Monday so we do allow you to have somebody else come in and pick up your food for you. We are an all volunteer group. Thank you for understanding.

So, this Friday, April 17, 2026 - distribution is from 9am to 12:00pm.

Please bring a basket, box, or other container for your food.

Bedford school district only. Bring your photo ID.
