Today members of Local 728 participated in the first Annual Heart of the BFD Stadium Climb. Our members participated in the competitive class by completing 20 laps from bottom to top of Memorial Stadium.

Our very own Reid Marlow was the 1st finisher overall in our class. Thank you City of Bloomington, IN - Fire Department for your hospitality today.

All entry forms for the $100 Gift Card Giveaway are due tomorrow by 4:00 PM. All Lawrence County Teachers Pre K- 8th grade are encouraged to enter!

Entry forms are in the front office at 1900 H Street Bedford, IN and can be filled out between 8:00-4:00 PM.

Thank you Bedford Parks Department for putting this event together. We are always grateful to give back to the community that we serve!!

Join us on Friday, July 31st at the John Lowery Municipal Pool for our Rock-A-Hula Luau 2026! ⛱️🏝️

This event will be sponsored by the Bedford Fire Department Local 728! Families will be treated to an evening of swimming, music, food, and fun, so come dressed in your favorite Luau attire! ☀️🏖️

Tickets will be $5 and will be sold at the Bedford Parks Department starting on July 9th, with a deadline of Monday, July 27th.

Children must be accompanied by an adult for this event. Normal pool rules apply, lifeguards will be present.
