Today our brothers and sisters of the Roanoke Police Department laid K9 Knox to rest. Knox bravely gave his life in the line of duty. Days like today remind us all of the bond handlers and the dogs share, and how unpredictable the jobs we ask these brave dogs to do can be. Our thoughts and prayers are with the handler, their family and the rest of Roanoke Police in this time of grieving.
