We were visited by three Veterans and they spoke about their experiences while serving our Country.

Some of our memberss attended the Veterans Celebration at the Bedford Hills Community Center last week (November 9). Everyone enjoyed the crowd, speakers, food and drink. Then, the following Tuesday we entertained three Veterans at our monthly meeting.

Luncheon, a local institution, funds five annual scholarships for Fox Lane High School Graduating Seniors

The Bedford Hills Woman’s Club is hosting their annual scholarship fundraiser luncheon on Tuesday September 19, 2023 at Noon at the Somers Pointe Restaurant, 1000 West Hill Drive in Somers. This luncheon is an institution, known for its abundance of beautiful gift basket raffles and funds five annual scholarships for students graduating Fox Lane High School.

Tickets for the luncheon are $65. Checks should be made out to the Bedford Hills Woman’s Club and sent to BHWC President, Joanne Rosamond, 20 Sunset Drive, Bedford Hills, NY 10507. If you cannot attend, but would like to contribute to the scholarship fund, please send checks made out to BHWC with “scholarship fund” in the memo to Mrs. Rosamond.

The Club is celebrating over 96 years of service to the community and welcomes new members. They boast participants from communities throughout Westchester County and even Connecticut. BHWC meets monthly at the newly renovated Bedford Hills Community House, and has book, knitting and walking groups, participates in the annual Bedford Hills Trunk and Treat and Memorial Day parade, and regularly sponsors community service initiatives. The next membership meeting is Tuesday, September 12 at the Bedford Hills Community House at 11:30, so drop in!
