From communication and teamwork to problem-solving, time management, and professionalism, every day provides practical experience that prepares them for long-term success.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and at Career Connections, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and valued. 💙🩵💙

Prevention starts with awareness and action. Here are a few ways we can all make a difference:

• Know the signs – Be aware of changes in a child’s behavior, unexplained injuries, or signs of neglect.
• Speak up – If you see something that doesn’t feel right, report it. Your voice could protect a child.
• Be a safe adult – Offer encouragement, listen without judgment, and create a space where children feel heard.
