Oregon International Ballet Academy Welcome:
A message from OIBA:
Classical ballet technique is the soul to any physical art form.

Through excellence in ballet instruction and uniquely nurturing mentorship, OIBA teachers instill beauty, confidence, health, love and responsibility, inspiring students to fulfill their dreams. We are not only teaching ballet, we are creating an environment for student’s confidence and untapped potential for beauty to be nurtured. OIBA’s teaching method is based on the Vaganova Method combined with our personal experiences dancing around the world. Teaching through explanation and clear demonstration, we inspire students to focus and find their own voice in dance. We want to see each child maintain their innocence and joy as they grow to achieve the highest level of technical proficiency.
*Oregon International Ballet Academy is a non-profit organization.

🩰 What is your first Pas de Deux class really like?

Many people think Pas de Deux is just about lifts.

In reality, it is about trust, coordination, and working together.

Thank you Jingzi Zhao to capturing those treasure moments.

Five Weeks of Growth, Inspiration, and Dance

As our 2026 OIBA Summer Intensive comes to a close, we want to thank all of our incredible dancers, families, faculty, and guest artists for making this summer such a memorable one.

Over the past five weeks, our studios have been filled with hard work, creativity, and passion. From classical ballet and pointe to contemporary, partnering, and conditioning, our dancers challenged themselves every day and made remarkable progress—not only in their technique, but also in their confidence, artistry, and friendships.

We are so proud of everything our students have accomplished and grateful to everyone who helped make this summer such a success.

Thank you for being part of the OIBA family. We wish you a wonderful rest of the summer and can’t wait to welcome everyone back for our 2026–2027 Annual Session, beginning September 8. Here’s to another exciting year of dancing together!
