Eventually is now available for adoption!🩵

This handsome tuxedo boy earned his name after making everyone wait nearly 20 hours for his grand entrance. His poor mama kept sending mixed signals. She would have a few contractions, push for a bit, then seemingly decide, "Actually, I've changed my mind," curl up, and take a nap.

Even the veterinarian was confused. No kittens were stuck. Nothing appeared wrong. After two oxytocin injections and enough waiting to test everyone's patience, she finally decided it was time to introduce the world to her last kitten.

And out came... Eventually.

Today, Eventually is making up for lost time. This sweet, affectionate little boy is full of personality, curiosity, and kitten mischief. He loves people, enjoys playtime, and is always ready to investigate whatever you're doing.

His most distinctive feature besides his adorable little mustache and giant eyes is his permanent case of bedhead. No matter what he does, he always looks like he just woke up five minutes ago and hasn't quite gathered himself yet. Honestly, it's part of his charm.

🐾🔥 Kitten Season Is Hitting Hard 🔥🐾

We are deep in the heart of kitten season, and right now Love and care Kitten Adoption is caring for 48 kittens and cats. Every day our phone rings, our inbox fills up, and we receive heartbreaking messages from people begging us to take in more kittens that have nowhere else to go.

The reality is that while we never want to say no to an animal in need, we can only continue saving lives if we have the resources to care for them.

Our funds are running dangerously low.

Every kitten that comes through our doors needs food, formula, litter, deworming, flea treatment, vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, microchips, veterinary care, and sometimes emergency medical treatment. The costs add up incredibly fast, especially during kitten season.

Toula is now available for adoption! 💕

At just 12-weeks-old, Toula wakes up every morning with a very busy schedule: chase invisible bugs, attack her own tail, sprint through the house at approximately 47 miles per hour, and then collapse dramatically for a nap like she's just completed a marathon.

Mana-Yiayia is a 12-week-old beautiful tuxedo girl, and what makes her extra special is her gorgeous silver-tipped coat. Her black fur is sprinkled with a silvery layer that gives her the distinguished look of a wise grandmother who's earned every one of her gray hairs.

Important Announcement: Changes in how to reach us!

*Correction from a previous post: Cortana is actually a male kitten! 💙

He went in for a planned spay surgery this week and had a cryptorchid neuter procedure instead! He's as adorably vocal as ever and is best buds with his brother, Chief! We love his name and decided to keep it. ☺️

They're both available now and we plan to make individual posts for them soon (if they're not adopted in the meantime 🫣).

Maria is now available for adoption!🩷

Maria is an estimated 3-year-old seal point Siamese and has already survived more than any cat should. After being abandoned by her previous caretakers, she found herself alone in an unfamiliar outdoor environment, pregnant and desperately searching for safety. With nowhere else to go, sweet Maria climbed into the roof of an outdoor structure and created a tiny hidden shelter where she gave birth to her babies.

Despite everything she had been through, Maria protected her kittens with the fierce determination only a mother can have.

Thankfully, a compassionate resident on the property stepped in to provide temporary food, safety, and containment while trying to help the little family survive. But as concerns for their safety escalated, urgent rescue assistance was requested.

One of the most heartbreaking parts of Maria's story came when she and her kittens were being housed in a cage for safety. A tenant on the property reportedly began baiting dogs toward the cage, terrifying Maria while she desperately tried to protect her babies. In her fear and panic while defending them, Maria broke one of her teeth.

When Maria arrived with us, we immediately made sure she received the veterinary care she needed, including having the damaged tooth removed. And ever since then this sweet girl has absolutely blossomed.

Maria is gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loving. She does wonderfully with children and other cats, and once she feels safe, she melts into affection and attention.

Dogs, however, understandably terrify her after what she experienced. She deserves a calm home where she never has to feel unsafe again.

This amazing girl also has the CUTEST crossed eyes!

After everything she's endured, Maria's only job now is being adored like the queen she always was.

💜 Pearl Update 💜

It is finally time to start catching up on all of our long-overdue updates! The last several weeks have been a whirlwind of bottle-feeding newborns around the clock, and while we've been a little quiet online, we've been busy caring for some very tiny lives. Now that things have settled down a bit, we can start sharing updates on so many of the animals you've been rooting for.

First up is sweet Pearl. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Two weeks ago, Pearl underwent her eye surgery, and we wanted to share an update with everyone who has followed her journey, donated, prayed, shared her story, and cheered her on along the way.

This video shows how Pearl is doing now and the incredible progress she has made. She continues to amaze us every day with her resilience, sweet spirit, and determination. While she still has some healing ahead of her, we are so grateful for how far she has come.

Say hello to two of our newest intakes: Chief and Cortana 😻

They are estimated to be *available* in about 2-3 weeks! ✨

These sweethearts were found at a construction site and were brought into temporary care for a few weeks at the rescuer's home. But since they were unable to keep them long-term, they asked us to take them in! These kittens are estimated to be about 10-12 weeks old and are already very sweet and socialized! 😸💓
