Last Saturday a group of us took 4 hours to strategic plan for the coming 18 months and do an analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats our club faces. We all agreed how important it is that our club continues to grow and communicate to the community all the things we are doing in Beaverton.

Today we celebrate International Women's Day and recognize the incredible women who lead, serve, and strengthen our communities every day.

At the Rotary Club of Beaverton, we are grateful for the women who bring compassion, leadership, and dedication to everything we do. We had excellent presenters at today's meeting that shared about the importance of physical fitness at every age.
Organizacion de Amigos is a fantastic non profit that works with school children to teach them about strength training, building confidence and nutrition. This link takes you to their website & fundraisers:

Alloy Personal Training specializes in small group strength training for adults 40+. Their goal is "lift for life" which increases mobility, health, hormones and bone density.

AMAZING! We love supporting these students through Book Fair sponsorships, coat drives, scholarships and providing food boxes over winter break.

The Beaverton School District has been named the national “District of the Year” by K-12 Dive, a publication covering news and trends shaping K-12 education.🏆️

The publication annually selects a district, superintendent and principal of the year, based on student achievement, whole-child programming, postsecondary pathways and community engagement.

BSD was recognized for its systemwide successes in both academics and operations, including its expanding dual-language, pre-K and career technical education opportunities, innovative fentanyl awareness program and growing electric bus fleet.

Congratulations to the entire BSD community—staff, parents and students!👏

On Saturday many Beaverton Rotarians joined teachers and administrators & students at Beaverton Aloha K-8 School to create food boxes for 80 families facing food insecurity over winter break. Most families hand-picked their food items that included two chickens, milk, canned items, beans, pasta, potatoes, etc. For the few that were not able to come in person, their boxes were delivered. We enjoyed carrying out this tradition & partnership that has continued for two decades. Thank you volunteers and to Safeway and funds from the Rotary Club of Beaverton!
