Albright Shores Eagles 3655 The F.O.E. was founded in February, 1898 by six theatre owners gathered in a Seattle shipyard to discuss a musician's strike.

The FOE is an international non-profit org uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope. After addressing the matter, they agreed to "bury the hatchet" and form "The Order of Good Things." As numbers grew, members selected the Bald Eagle as the official emblem a

nd changed the name to "The Fraternal Order of Eagles." The women's auxiliary traces its roots to 1927.

Albright Shores Eagles Spring Chili Cook Off

Saturday March 25th

Categories will be: Red Chili, White Chili, or Other (wild game or vegetarian)
$5.00 Entry Fee per Chili, enter as many times as you would like.
Bring your crockpot full, and a ladle.
Arrive by 3:PM to set up in the bingo hall.
Judging will begin at 5:00 PM.
Only 1 winner.
Prize winner receives 75% of the entry fees.
AERIE will supply the bowls, spoons and crackers.
Everyone eating will be able to vote on the Chili.
If you would like a full bowl after judging, it will be $1.00 per bowl
Winner will get their name on the AERIE trophy

NO CANNED CHILI WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR JUDGING

Wednesday August 24th from 10am to 3pm we are hosting the Gladwin County Community that Cares (Gladwin CTC) backpack giveaway. It is a community affair to help supply the children with necessary school supplies. There will be a bounce house, face painting, and various other things for the kids. The club will have the dunk tank ready too. Lunch will be provided for the children and accompanying adults.

We are looking for horseshoe players for an open league starting on June 5th around 12pm. It will be just a Sunday-Funday league. Payout will be every week. There is a sign up list here at the club on the info board.
