Beaverton Activity Center is a non-profit, volunteer based community hub for arts, culture, literacy, and healthy lifestyle programs .

Beaverton Activity Center is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission to restore and repurpose Beaverton’s historic school building was launched in 2011. The efforts and generosity of many people transformed a nearly vacant 25,000 square foot facility into the pride of the community when the original school was reopened as Beaverton Activity Center in 2015. In an ongoing partnership with Beaverton Schools, programming offered daily by three tenant partners has created a comfortable library that invites all ages to read, learn and have fun; a preschool that spurs the curiosity and enthusiasm of little ones; and a PT clinic that provides hope and healing for patients in the area. B-Fit Center is a first-rate place to exercise, and the gym is used for walking and organized sports for youth and adults. Sweet B Cafe is an enjoyable spot to meet a friend for coffee and conversation. BAC Meeting Rooms are well-appointed gathering places for clubs and leisure activities, support groups, boards and businesses. The gym and meeting rooms can be rented for programs and social events of all kinds. BAC Volunteers are essential to the success of the organization; the community is elevated by their service and their lives are enriched by connecting with others. For more information about activities, meeting room rentals and volunteer opportunities, visit the BAC website or stop by the center located at 106 Tonkin Street in Beaverton.

We wrapped up another great season of Flag Football with our games Under the Lights! 🏈

We want to take a moment to say Thank you to everyone who helped make this season possible!

The amazing coaches who volunteer their time, energy and patience to all these young athletes to grow. Steve Casteel, Austin Schenider, Shane Longstreth, Jason Blades, Travis Cousineau and Ty Stevenson, you teach them so much more than football. We couldn’t do it without you.

The parents, families and community members, thank you for showing up every week, cheering them on and supporting these kids every step of the way.

A special thank you to Flynn Lumber for donating the supplies to upgrade the bleachers and the Beaverton Lions Club for completing the project. Fixing up the bleachers not only benefited our Flag Football program, but the entire community as they can be used for many years to come.

We are so proud of every one of our youth and we can’t wait to see them back on the field.

THANK YOU, BEAVERTON COMMUNITY, for making youth sports possible!
