🎒 Join Us for Free School Supplies!

Free Back to School Supplies event at the Teacher/Community Store. If you or someone you know is in need, come by and pick up essential school supplies.

🗓 Dates: August 19th - 28th
📅 Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
⏰ Time: 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
📍 Location: 5550 SW Hall Blvd, Beaverton, OR 97005 (inside the Elsie Stuhr Center)

This is a wonderful opportunity for teachers, students, and families to get ready for the school year. Spread the word and help us support our community!

Sometime today, WakeUp Beaverton, Unite Oregon, and the MarandasGarica Law Group held a secretive yet impactful event titled “Stronger Together: Know Your Rights.” Designed to educate community members about their legal rights, the event brought together a diverse group eager to learn and engage.

Participants enjoyed informative sessions led by legal experts who simplified complex legal concepts, covering essential topics such as housing, employment, and interactions with law enforcement. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with active discussions and personal stories that fostered a sense of solidarity among attendees.

The community’s response was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the knowledge gained and the supportive environment created. 2. Adjustment Period: Having the right supplies can ease the transition into a new environment. Well-organized materials help new students keep up with assignments and classwork as they acclimate to their new school.

3. Fresh Start: The new year brings a sense of renewal and motivation. New students can set academic goals and establish good habits, making it crucial to equip themselves with the necessary tools.
