The good Samaritans that reached out us about injured Silver notified us about this cat whom he hung out with. It took a bit to organize a foster. Once we contained her we got her to a foster about 4 miles away from the location she was found in. She was there one day and escaped through a screen window when her kennel was being cleaned.
There was no sighting of her after the first couple days of escape. Escaped Aug 26th, 26 showed up Sept 10th, 26
We had a trap set but she wasn’t going for it.
We got a message from her feeder at the original location that she had made it back 4 miles..
we then contained her again at her location, she escaped out of a bathroom window.
She continued to stay outside until a couple weeks ago.
We set up a Spay date for yesterday. When our vet prepared her for surgery, they shaved her and found a tattoo. They scanned her for a chip and she was chipped. I am unable to reach the owner and with some investigative work, we can’t find that she lived at the location originally found at any time. The phone number listed on the chip has been disconnected and so far I’ve been unable to find her on social media..
For now, she is safe with one of our fosters and we will do our due diligence to locate her owner. 😩
