Last week, twelve amazing local businesses united for a community-wide food drive — collecting nearly 4,000 pounds of food for our Care to Share Pantry Network during Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Month.

Last week, we were honored to host a poverty simulation for Leadership Beaverton – Class of 2026 at the Beaverton Resource Center.

Experiences like this help leaders understand the real challenges families face, limited resources, tough decisions, unexpected setbacks, and the resilience it takes to get through each day.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support this hands-on learning experience and deepen our community’s commitment to compassion, service, and meaningful change.

Together, we can ensure no neighbor faces hardship alone.

🌎 Nourishing Every Neighbor with Dignity

At the Beaverton Resource Center, we believe that food is more than nourishment, its connection, identity, and comfort. Our local pantries work hard to provide culturally and dietarily specific foods that reflect the diverse traditions of our community. From masa flour and jasmine rice to fresh produce, we strive to ensure that every neighbor finds familiar, nourishing ingredients on our shelves.

When our neighbors can choose foods that honor their culture and dietary needs, we do more than fill plates, we uphold dignity and strengthen community bonds.
