Southridge Fed beat Beaverton last night in a playoff play-in game 6-0. With the victory they secure their spot in the district tournament. Jaxsen Colenso was outstanding on the mound, pitching a complete 7-inning game while allowing just 2 hits & no runs. Malcolm Albright had 2 hits, while Finnigan, Gannett, and Burk each added one. The Skyhawks’ defense was impressive, recording 19 outs in the field. This team has worked incredibly hard all season, showing significant growth and improvement from the first practice to now. It has been fun to watch.
Next game is tomorrow in the district tournament. Go Skyhawks!

Southridge Sr Fed closed out the regular season with a 6–3 win over Beaverton. With the game tied in the 6th the Skyhawks scored 3 runs to take the lead. Southridge sealed the win in the 7th with a diving catch by Hundt in the outfield, followed by a 4-6-3 double play by Gannett-Albright-Kindell to end the game. Gannett had 2 hits, including a triple, & drove in the go-ahead runs in the sixth. Jones also added a triple, while Finnigan & Kanarek each had a double. On the mound, Kanarek & Colenso combined for a strong performance, recording 7 strikeouts while allowing just 4 hits. Let’s do it again Tuesday night. Go Skyhawks!

Southridge Sr. National earned a win in their first District tournament game, defeating Tillamook 11–10 on a walk-off. The Skyhawks scored two runs in the bottom of the 7th. Ashcom started things off with a single, followed by a game-tying triple from Lewis. Copp then drove in Lewis for the winning run. Wills had 3 hits / 2 RBIs, Lewis added a triple and a double, & Ashcom finished with 2 hits. Next game tomorrow—Go Skyhawks!

Southridge Fed defeated Scappoose 6–2 on Saturday. Jaxon Gannett recorded two hits, including a double, while Jaxsen Colenso also added a double. Colenso and Wilder Dickson split time on the mound, keeping the Scappoose offense in check. It was a strong defensive performance by the team, with great plays and no errors. Go Skyhawks!

Southridge Federal defeated Westview 11-1 on Friday night. Finnigan had three hits, including a double, while Johnson added two hits, Jones doubled, and Gannett with 3 RBIs. Kanarek delivered a strong outing on the mound, striking out eight. Go Skyhawks!

Southridge National finished off a perfect regular season Thursday to finish 21-0 with a win over Liberty. Wyatt Lewis had 3 hits, Declan Copp with a double and 2 RBIs, & Frazier had 2 hits. Copp also pitched 4 innings & Lewis closed the game in the 5th. Great season Skyhawks! On to Districts later this week!
