So glad to be the backdrop for this great event! Walk, Bike, Roll to School day at BES! Even though our kids are in the county, the school finds a way, way to go everyone who organized, volunteered and "rolled"!! πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸ›΄πŸ›ΉπŸ›ΌπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

Ms. Janice Alston donated a copy of "Heroes in the Shadows: The Untold Story of the African American Sailors Abord USS Indianapolis (CA-35)" to The Beaverdam Depot because one of the heroes was a Beaverdam native. Mr. Henry Jackson, not sure if he still has family who resides in Beaverdam, but we thank him (and his crewmates) for their service and sacrifice. Thank you Ms. Alston for sharing!!

We have been quiet lately, but we would like to invite more of the community to come out to our monthly meetings. We meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month (except if that Tuesday falls around a holiday and then the board will usually decide to move it up or back depending on the holiday). We have added our next few meetings to the events page so everyone can note the date and time.

Volunteers to local organizations ensures that these organizations continue to thrive and are here for generations to come. The Beaverdam Depot usually hosts many events throughout the year but a few events have dropped off lately due to lack of volunteers to plan and work these events.

Please come out, see what we are about, bring fresh ideas so we can have new events and spruce up old events! We would love to have you!!

Upcoming Events:
Christmas Open House on 12/2
Cookie and Craft Event on 12/3

Hope to see you all there!!
