How was GBL started? After visiting Yulin orphanage in Southwest China, Dan felt God’s calling towards children’s ministry, and created GBL

What are the Lui family up to? With his family, Dan Lui, the GBL founder, has been living in Kunming, China since 2015, helping the community with both medical and spiritual needs. Specifically, he has

Lumi came to work with me. Had a meeting next door and 10 minutes later wondered why she was so quiet. Came in and all the tissues were taken out of the box. She looked around like she didn’t know who did it. She eventually said sorry and helped me clean up.

I am proud of Fiona as she has started to expand her interest outside of just tennis. She has recently gotten into drama and acting. Proud of Kingston as he’s become more and more willing to be expressive and confident. Proud of Lumi that she has continued to be such a cute and radiant light in everyone’s lives.

Seeing Gavin bless these two brothers was a privilege. Hopefully we can share more of His truth and goodness soon.

Lumi’s mom came to visit Lumi and to give us her official household registration book (hukou). She also brought Lumi to get her passport done. We were surprised and thankful. This shows a lot of trust in us. We pray we can continue to invest in the life of Lumi’s mom and dad and two older sisters.
