The pool at DRAC is useful in so many ways - swim lessons, swim team, open swim, and earning a canoeing badge! Troop 375 in Beavercreek used the pool at DRAC to have a class on canoe safety, which earned them the canoeing merit badge. During the class they used paddles they built themselves, which earned them the woodworking merit badge. One class, two badges! This is in preparation for their own High Adventure trip this summer during which they will be canoeing up to 100 miles on the Buffalo National River in Arkansas. Good luck!
