The Beaver Volunteer Fire Department 5K/10K Race is the longest continual and most attended organized race in Beaver County. Our scenic town boasts broad, tree-lined streets, thriving downtown, and lots of public parks. Beaver is on the National Register of Historic Places and it is named as a “Tree City USA”. A long stretch of the race course overlooks the majestic Ohio River. Beaver Volunteer Fire Department has been proud to co-sponsor with Heritage Valley Health Systems since 2002. The annual race/walk is Beaver County’s premier race event and uses a scenic route through the historic neighborhoods of Beaver PA. All intersections are manned by police, fire fighters, and community volunteers to avoid problems between cars and race participants.
