Kim Pizzella is one of the founding partners of Marquis Strategies. Her passion for political reform and fundraising for those in need are what fueled the concept and creation of the Marquis business. As a campaign finance professional and a leader in the PA Republican Party, Ms. Pizzella has played a substantial and active role in PA politics. She is a highly respected fundraising strategist with an impressive client base ranging from nonprofit organizations to various county, state and federal political entities. She brings fresh ideas, energy and an “outside of the box” thought process to event planning and fundraising strategy. For many years, Ms. Pizzella has successfully served as the lead financial strategist on state wide and federal campaigns. Her success in developing a winning fundraising strategy is a direct result of her ability to develop relationships with contributors in the region and across the state. With her experience and expertise, many of Marquis’ clients have exceeded their fundraising and event objectives. Due to her understanding of public policy & industry as important factors, she maintains extensive ties with the current house, senate leadership and senior policy staff in Harrisburg. As a graduate of the Republican National Committee Campaign Finance College, she also co-founded the Republican Women of the Ohio River Region and ran a successful campaign for Pennsylvania State Committee. She also serves as a member of the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce, Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Professional Women. Maria Longo, Partner
Maria Longo is the other founding partner and Senior Statistical Strategist of Marquis Strategies. Longo’s extensive education in mechanical engineering and business administration, she has developed an expertise in financial and logistical analysis that has evolved Marquis to the business that it is today. Her effective research and immense skill set has been utilized to create both successful political and non-profit finance strategies as well as receiving grants for non-profit and community organizations. Her capabilities also extend to planning and executing major events within the community and the corporate level. In the corporate realm, she has performed as the corporate event and graphic producer for numerous Fortune 500 companies as well as some of America’s most well-known corporate leaders. Some examples include PPG Industries, GE Healthcare, Starkist, Genworth Financial, Highmark, Delmonte Foods, Heinz Corporation, etc. As a devoted member of the community, Maria has served as President of the Rochester Economic Development Board for over ten years and succeeded in acquiring over $150,000 in grants to improve the business district. As part of this board, she was also the Event Producer for the Beaver County Family Riverfest for four years and is responsible for growing it into a premiere event in the county. Maria is on the board of the Rochester Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce and Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce. She’s also a former member of the Beaver County Executive Women’s Group. Monica Pitcher, Event Planner
Monica Pitcher is the marketing coordinator and event planner for Marquis Strategies. Although Ms. Pitcher is the newest addition to the Marquis team, she has played a meaningful role within the marketing and event planning sector of the company. Pitcher serves as part of the Marquis event staff by planning and assisting in the ex*****on of events. She has also aided in the growth of Marquis by utilizing her marketing skills through promoting the company on social media and making efforts to reach out to the community. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications and certifications in business management and business administration. During her time at Penn State, she pursued her passion for writing as a senior staff writer for the campus newspaper, participated in on-campus events as a Lion Ambassador and obtained valuable experiences through her marketing communications internships with the Pittsburgh Airport Area Chamber of Commerce and Allegheny Medical Integrated Health Services. Throughout her education, Ms. Pitcher was able to obtain extensive knowledge within the different aspects of the communications field ranging from public relations, marketing, social media and event planning.
