Our fall Sweep has been scheduled! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 16th.

Sign in behind Township Building between 8:30 and 8:45 AM. Eat donuts 🍩.

Roadside litter pick up along Rt 51 and the on/off ramps to I 376. The more volunteers we have, the greater the area we can clean!

Depending on Covid restrictions at the time, lunch will follow at Pizza Hut, compliments of the Township Supervisors.

Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Vests, gloves and trash bags will be supplied as always, by PennDot.

This event is rain or shine…except for a heavy downpour 😊

We had beautiful weather for our Spring Sweep! Thanks to the continued dedication of Celebration Life Church, Girl Scout Troop #27161, and a few new faces from the community we were able to collect 50 bags of debris from along Rt 51.

Heartfelt thanks to all who were involved, we are truly grateful for your time and energy on an early Saturday morning.

See you in October!

With the melting snow comes the realization that there is a collection of trash on our community roads! We were unable to pick up in October due to a lack of volunteers 🥲, so we really need you to step up to the plate and help us this time.

The Spring Sweep is scheduled for Saturday, April 24th. Sign in is behind the Borough Building at 8:30 AM. Donuts and water bottles will be available.

We will pick up Route 51 (from 376 on/off ramps to McKinley Road) from 9-11:30. Vests, gloves and bags will be provided by PennDot.

Please wear masks for sign in, and long pants and sturdy shoes for the pick up.

Unfortunately due to lack of volunteers, the pick up for Saturday, October 10th has been cancelled.

Penndot has finished road work on the section we clean and the township guys have been mowing regularly. It looks beautiful!
