Summer is slowly winding down, but we have another take and make available at the library! Stop it to pick up a kit to make a pool float craft-Limited quantities available.
Can’t make it in to get one? This craft can be easily recreated at home using a small colored paper plate as the float, and a simple person shape outline.

We are excited to have been chosen to receive a grant from Naturally Lewis for A/C in our building. It’ll be wonderful to be able to be a cool space for the community.

The Beaver Falls Library recently received $10,000 from our Community Connections Fund to install air conditioning units! ❄️📚

The past couple of summers have been exceptionally warm, and the building has become uncomfortable. This has led to reduced hours, canceled programs, and limited use of public computers and meeting spaces.

We are excited to see how they will expand literacy programs, youth and senior activities, and community meetings throughout the summer months! 🎉

Our Tuesday hours have shifted- we are now open 10-6pm. The rest of our days stay the same. Pop in for a book to read outside in this beautiful weather.

Our hours will be a little different for the rest of the month. I will be out west for my sons wedding, but there will be some friendly faces filling in- be sure to make note of the changes and stop by!

Tina Beauparlant from Parent to Parent NYS stopped in at library last week to drop off some information about the program and chat for a bit. We have the pamphlets available for anyone interested.

The library will be closing at noon today for staff to attend off-site training. We’ll be open regular hours the rest of the week.

We would like to thank Stewart's for including the Beaver Falls Library as a holiday match recipient. We are excited to add new books to our juvenile and young adult shelves AND purchase two beanbags for our young readers to get comfy in while they read. The books will be ordered ASAP and the beanbags will be here this summer.
