Applications are now open for Impactfluence: Tier II.
What if young creatives didn't just learn how to create, but learned how to build a career around what they create?
That's why we built Impactfluence.
Our first cohort proved something we've believed for a long time: talent isn't the biggest barrier. Direction is.
Today, every participant from our first cohort has greater clarity around their creative purpose. They're building businesses, pursuing career opportunities, earning income through real client projects, and developing the confidence to put themselves and their work into the world.
Several participants earned paid opportunities working alongside BANC and Whitted Media on projects with organizations including Cornerstone of Beaver County, Community College of Beaver County, Valley Clean Air Now, West End POWER, and Pittsburgh Public Theater.
But technical skills are only part of the equation.
Schools often teach the craft.
They rarely teach how to turn that craft into income, how to find your audience, how to build a personal brand, how to overcome self-sabotage, or how to manage the fear that keeps so many talented young people hidden.
That's where Impactfluence is different.
Over six months, participants develop:
• A clear creative mission
• A business and service strategy
• A content and marketing system
• Networking and community-building skills
• Emotional resilience and self-awareness
• Practical entrepreneurial skills
• Media production experience
• A portfolio they can actually use
Tier II combines twice monthly business and entrepreneurial sessions (primarily virtual with select in-person workshops) with free access to our bi-weekly media production training. Together, students learn both how to build their vision and how to communicate it professionally.
If you're a parent with a creative young person who needs direction…
If you're a community member who knows someone with talent but no roadmap…
Or if you're a funder who believes entrepreneurship and workforce development can change lives…
We invite you to learn more.
Applicants must:
• Be between the ages of 15–25
• Live in Beaver County
• Have an interest in creative entrepreneurship
