💙 Advocacy in Action in Downtown Owensboro!

Yesterday, The Chad Lake Foundation was honored to be invited by The Center of Owensboro-Daviess County to set up a resource table alongside so many incredible community partners serving our area.

Located in the heart of downtown Owensboro near Probation & Parole, the courthouse, and True North Treatment Center, we had the opportunity to connect directly with individuals navigating recovery, reentry, and rebuilding their lives.

We spent the day sharing resources, raising awareness, making connections, and letting people know that support is available and they do not have to navigate these challenges alone.

Successful recovery and reentry require more than a second chance, they require resources, opportunities, support, and a community willing to show up.

It was an incredibly productive and successful day, and we are grateful to The Center of Owensboro-Daviess County for bringing so many community partners together in one place.

This is what community looks like organizations working together, meeting people where they are, and helping remove barriers one person at a time. 💙

🤝 BUILDING CONNECTIONS FOR CHANGE: KENTUCKY ➡️ ARIZONA

The Chad Lake Foundation is excited to share that our Founder & CEO, Britney Jones, MSW, recently made contact with CARE AZ, a nonprofit organization serving Apache County, Arizona.

The Chad Lake Foundation, a Kentucky-based nonprofit, was founded on the belief that people deserve opportunities for rehabilitation, successful reentry, and a real chance to rebuild their lives. Learning about organizations like CARE AZ that are working toward similar goals in their own communities reminds us that this movement is bigger than any one organization or one state.

We hope this connection is only the beginning.

CLF looks forward to the possibility of collaborating with CARE AZ in the future, sharing ideas, building relationships, and working together to help bring much-needed change to Apache County and communities across Arizona.

Real change happens when organizations stop working in silos and start building bridges. From Kentucky to Arizona, we are stronger when we work together.

💙 Different states. Shared mission. One goal: rehabilitation over incarceration.
